1210 - The Best of ArtOrder, 2009 version

Daily Character on hold...
...for a few weeks at least.
The deadline that I had the other day has turned in to a huge task that requires three weeks of solid, too-few-hours-in-the-day work. So I will have very little time for anything else.
I will try and get a few characters drawn, but can't promise them on a daily basis like I have been.
I also hope to return with a better layout for this blog, and maybe a wordpress version as well. I find wordpress far better for custom layouts and things like that. I still haven't found a blogger template for my Daily Characters that I'm happy with.

I did some illustrations for a client a while back that were all 1920's gangster related and had a lot of fun with them, so I decided to return to that for this weeks theme, which is 'Gangsters'. And not the modern kind. :)

Deadline madness and no Daily Characters! :(
Hey all,
You may have noticed the lack of daily characters for the last three days, something I am NOT happy with. I hope to remedy this situation ASAP.
Anyways, the reason for the lack of updates has been because of a serious deadline I was under, for yesterday, so I was working all through the weekend, nights included, and only averaged abut three hours sleep a night. Which didn't leave any time for my characters. Not good, but work needs to be done.
I'll be back on it as soon as I can.

I had a healthy dose of Cartoon Network over the weekend and got inspired to produce some more 'cartoony' characters. So it'll be a week of these type characters, and then next week I should be starting the monthly theme.
